    fine views
    uncomfortable pillows

The outdoor swimming pool offers excellent mountain views, perfect for relaxation after a long day exploring the area.

The pillows in the suite were too soft for my personal preference, made getting a restful night's sleep a bit challenging.

The wine tasting experience at the converted Blacksmith's Cottage was special, along with amazing views of roaming animals from the patio. Watching wildlife from our suite added a unique touch to our stay.

My favourite property in Franschhoek. Self-service hotel in a nice area of Franschhoek.

    Quite dark room.

    scenic views
    poorly lit road
    outdated furnishings

Scenic views from the hotel create a relaxing ambiance.

The access road to the hotel was steep and poorly lit, which posed a safety concern at night. The suite we stayed in had outdated furnishings that detracted from our comfort. Breakfast options were limited and did not change throughout our stay.

    tasteful decor
    reliable wifi
    poorly lit access

comfortable suite but access needs improvement

The Panorama suite was airy and cozy, with tasteful Africa-themed decor. The sunbathing deck provided fine mountain and valley views, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast offered delicious options that were satisfying and well-prepared. Free wifi was reliable.

The access road to the hotel was steep and poorly lit at night, made arriving a bit concerning.

This hotel is set in a stunning location in the mountains, just a short walk from the hillside in a pine forest by a dam and close to the main town center and local bars.

    would come here again

The Executive Suite at the Marco Polo Lodge had everything like air conditioning, a balcony, barbecue, and a private bathroom. Loved the spacious dining area with a kitchenette, and the fireplace was cozy. Enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool with a view. Felt pampered with free toiletries and soft linens.
